A project is aim to be managed in the simplest and easiest manner.

Some organizations will have many processes, documentations in order to make the project neat. However, these will just make the project complex.

Few things that could be happening.

1. Project is more complex.

Instead of a 2-steps project process, the organization created more other processes in between project milestones. This makes the project even complex. Many unnecessary processes are added in order to achieve a simple task.

2. Time is also taken up to follow the processes and the effort to document the unnecessary paperwork. Instead of spending the time monitor the team performance. Time is spent on documentation or reports to the management.

Documentation is important. However, it is not a time to document an encyclopedia.
